About Us
The Emergency Medicine Interest Group (EMIG) is excited to offer students a range of activities, resources, and programs, including:
- Several opportunities each semester to shadow doctors in Columbia's Department of Emergency Medicine
- Workshops for medical students to learn emergency ultrasound, intubation, suturing, and phlebotomy
- Connecting interested students to research opportunities
- Recruiting speakers for lecture series on topics in Emergency Medicine
- Connecting interested students to faculty mentors in multiple subspecialties of Emergency Medicine.
